Named after the Kavango and Zambezi Rivers, this is crisp, light ale, perfect for all day drinking on a lazy boat cruise down either river. Combining the easy-drinking qualities of a session beer with the fuller flavour profile of a craft ale.
JACK TAR PORTER
“Porter ales” celebrate the role of river porters on the Thames River in 18th Century London. Our porter is named after the locomotive used to build the bridge at Victoria Falls. A light, refreshing ale with a backbone of chocolate malt.
PAINTED DOG PALE ALE
At only 30 IBUs, this is an all-day drinker for those who like a little more hoppiness in their beer. The late additions of Centennial, Cascade and Amarillo hops, all classic Pacific North-West flavours, give this Pale Ale a distinctly floral nose.
THE RIVER IPA
We took water from the Zambezi, added hops from the US, malts from Germany and Belgium, and American Ale Yeast. The resultant smorgasbord is a full-bodied ale that tumbles down the throat with all the subtlety of a raging waterfall. Our signature beer. For good reason. 50 IBUs.
